With our close proximity to Wichita - the Air Capital of the World, it's no wonder why companies like DJ Engineering, Sigma Tek, Global Parts & Schreib Air have chosen to locate operations in our community.
In 2009, Augusta Progress Inc. and the City of Augusta jointly financed a study to analyze the development feasibility of the 54/500 corridor between Indianola Road and the current western limits of the City. This plan builds the foundation for a partnership between private and public sectors so that future investments are done in a consistent and cohesive manner.
